The kick off to Orlando International Fashion Week offered attendees a blend of musical entertainment, high fashion and superior networking! There was live entertainment and a variety of vendor booths displaying Orlando's local talent. As the red carpet host, I had the pleasure of interviewing the many celebrities that joined the show. One of the celebrities I interviewed was X-Factor's very own Lillie Nicole McCloud! She is such a sweetheart.
The show was located at the Orlando Museum of Art, and showcased designers: Frank Gay with Rodeo Design, Rosemary Vargas with La Maison de la Rosse, Isabel Tse with Pletora Collection, Rosalia Beautie with Athyntiq and Sherilyn Bennett with her Spiritual Sweets collection. With different looks from each designer, the show's format was not restricted; ranging from multi-colored bandage dresses, to elegant evening gowns. The bathing suits were bold with cool cut outs and the audience even got a glimpse of dresses inspired by the Middle East. The men's fashion was equally amazing, displaying collections that consisted of unique button-ups and suit jackets with animal print accents. This extravagant event was just the beginning of Orlando International Fashion Week.
